South African pacer Dale Steyn says he is excited to get going in the Pakistan Super League, after landing in Pakistan and joining the Islamabad United squad.
“I have just landed in Pakistan. I’m really excited to get going,” said the pacer in a message shared by the Islamabad United. In the message, he also said that he was really looking forward to meeting the united fans “soon”.
The South African will make his debut in the Pakistan Super League this year and had missed out on the four initial matches as he was with his national team for their T20 series against Australia.
The fast bowler will now be available for United for the rest of the PSL matches. The Shadab Khan-led side will lock horns with Peshawar Zalmi at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium at 7pm today.
